Vineyards

Arriving to the gate we identify the coat of arms figuring on the label of Casa da Senra’s wine.

A little further on, to our left, we come across a loving figure of Our Lady of Solitude, to whom the family house was consecrated.

The house is built in granite and dates from the XVIII century, it has its rooms and bedrooms with hand painted wooden ceilings in shade of green and golden yellow due to the leafs and grapes of the Loureiro, and also a large room with a mezzanine in chestnut wood, that invites us to taste the wine in a fresh and cozy environment.

When we leave, we say goodbye to the saint whose name is the same as the father of the actual owner of the house, Saint Américo, always carrying the memory of this very special wine.
